The property is, quite literally, a stunning piece of the world; trying to describe all the features and beauty on the acerage just isn't possible so we've broken out some of the major highlights for you.

In a nutshell, the land is 159+ acres of south-facing mountainside starting at th the 4000' mark and climbing to above 5000 feet. Two permanent structures exist on the propery; a turnkey geodesic dome at the bottom saddlepoint and a stilted cabin at the peak. The views from the dome are amazing; we're not aware of suitable adjective to describe sunrise at the cabin. The land is dense old-growth forest that hasn't been touched in close to five decades but has areas that could be easily meadowed, surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest and populated by an amazing array of wildlife. There are two permanent streams, a seasonal springhead and a pond fed by gravity pumps. We generate our own power with off-grid systems and maintain our own 2.5 mile road through Forest Service land.
